5 Hidden Microsoft Edge Features You Didn’t Know About

Microsoft Edge is a popular web browser that is built on the Chromium engine. While many people are familiar with its basic features, such as tab management and bookmarking, there are several hidden features that are not as well-known. In this blog post, we’ll explore some of these features and show you how they can enhance your browsing experience.

Read Aloud

Read Aloud is a feature that reads web pages out loud to you. This can be useful if you prefer to listen to content rather than read it, or if you want to listen to an article while doing something else. You can adjust the speed and voice of the reading, as well as pause and resume playback. To access Read Aloud, right-click anywhere on a web page and select Read Aloud from the context menu.

When you visit a retail website, Microsoft Edge automatically searches for available coupons and discounts. If there are any available, a blue coupon icon will appear in the address bar. Clicking on the icon will display a drop-down menu of available coupons and promo codes that can be applied to your purchase. Simply select the coupon you want to use and it will be automatically applied to your order.

Web Capture

Web Capture is a handy feature that allows you to take screenshots of entire web pages or specific sections of a page. You can then annotate the screenshot with text, drawings, and highlighting. This is particularly useful if you want to save a recipe, shopping list, or any other type of information you find online. To access Web Capture, click on the ellipsis icon (three dots) on the right-hand side of the address bar and select Web Capture.

Password Monitor

Password Monitor is a security feature that alerts you if any of your saved passwords have been compromised in a data breach. If your password is found to be compromised, you’ll receive a notification prompting you to change your password. This can help you avoid potential security breaches and keep your online accounts secure. To enable Password Monitor, go to Settings > Profile > Passwords and turn on the toggle switch.

Math Solver

Microsoft Edge Math Solver button is a powerful tool designed to make math easier for students and professionals alike. It is a feature that can be accessed within the Microsoft Edge browser, allowing users to solve math problems with just a few clicks.

To use the Math Solver button, simply highlight the math problem you want to solve and click the Math Solver button in the top-right corner of the browser window. The feature will then launch a pop-up window where you can see the solution to your problem.
